Request an assessment

Tell us about your journal. We reply with a written assessment and a proposal.

One form, no sales call required. An editor with journal-operations experience reads it, checks your journal online, and sends back what we would do first, what it costs per item, and what we would not recommend.

What happens next

  1. We confirm receipt by email the same business day.
  2. An editor looks at your journal site, policies, and recent issues.
  3. Within 3 business days you get a written note: what we would do first, what it costs per item, and what we would not recommend.
  4. If you want to proceed, anything under $2,000 can be bought online; anything above comes as a proposal to sign.

Who decides what

Your editors decide. We run the process.

Editorial independence

The journal’s own editors keep final authority over reviewer selection, editorial assessment and acceptance. NeucitePress runs the process and the infrastructure — never the decision.

Platform independence

Open-source software (OJS), your own domain, your own DOI prefix, and full data export on request. You can leave at any time with everything.

No indexing guarantees

Inclusion in DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science, MEDLINE or any other database is decided solely by that database. We prepare, document and apply — we do not promise outcomes.

Before you ask

Common questions

The written reply to this form is free and carries no obligation. The paid Journal Health Check ($799) is a deeper, documented audit with a scorecard, eligibility map and leadership summary; its fee is credited against any package you sign within 90 days.
Not unless you ask. The reply comes by email. If a call would help, we offer times in the email and you choose.
Yes. Editorial office, production, ethics and indexing services work on any platform. Hosting, upgrades and migration are OJS-specific; if you want to move to OJS, migration is free with an annual hosting plan.
Because scope varies too much to price blind. Multi-journal offices, launches, migrations and annual editorial-office contracts are quoted per journal after we have read your situation. Everything under $2,000 is a fixed price you can buy from the pillar pages.
The journal’s URL, roughly how many submissions arrive a year, where it runs today, and one honest sentence about what is going wrong. Policies, board list and the last two issues are enough for us to check the rest ourselves.

Not ready to fill in a form?

Read the pillar that matches your problem first. Every service on those pages has a price, a unit, and a plain description of what you get.

Nothing above $2,000 is sold by self-checkout — those requests come back as a written proposal within 3 business days.
