1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using NeucitePress services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms govern your use of our academic publishing platform, including all content, services, and products available at or through neucitepress.com. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
NeucitePress provides academic publishing and related services, including:
- Journal publishing and management services
- Book publishing and distribution
- Conference management and organisation
- Peer review and editorial services
- Intellectual property management
- Medical communication and scientific writing
- Repository management and indexing support
3. User Accounts and Registration
3.1 Account creation
To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information up to date.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Content and Intellectual Property
4.1 Your content
You retain ownership of the intellectual property rights you hold in content you submit. By submitting content, you grant NeucitePress a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, distribute, and display that content as needed to provide our services. Specific publishing and licensing arrangements (such as author agreements or open-access licences) are set out in the relevant publication agreement.
4.2 Academic integrity
All submitted content must meet recognised academic integrity standards, including proper citation, originality, and ethical research practice. Plagiarism, data fabrication, and other forms of research misconduct are strictly prohibited, and are addressed under our Publication Ethics Policy.
5. Publication and Peer Review
5.1 Publication process
NeucitePress follows established academic publishing standards and peer review processes. Acceptance for publication is subject to editorial review and, where applicable, peer review by qualified experts in the relevant field.
5.2 Editorial decisions
Decisions on acceptance, rejection, or required revisions rest with the editorial board and NeucitePress and are made in line with our editorial policies. The use of AI tools in submissions and review is governed by our AI Use Policy.
6. Fees and Payment
Some services require payment of fees. Applicable fees are disclosed before a service is activated. Payment terms, refund conditions, and billing procedures are set out in the relevant service agreement or order confirmation.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy matters to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. 8. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our services:
- For any unlawful purpose, or to encourage others to act unlawfully
- To submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- To infringe the intellectual property rights of others

9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the service, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms or other good-faith reason. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NeucitePress disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, NeucitePress is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NeucitePress from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and costs arising from your use of the service or your breach of these Terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a revised “Last updated” date and, where changes are material, take additional steps to notify users. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms are subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.
